Mobile Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mobile Mechanical Engineer to maintain and repair installations such as ventilation systems (AHU, Intake/extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs, etc.), and water system assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters). The successful candidate will deliver the highest level of service for our clients, address queries, report defects, and keep clients informed of site activities during service visits.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair ventilation systems, including AHUs and intake/extract systems.
- Service heating and cooling systems such as thermal wheels and FCUs.
- Manage water system assets, including booster sets, calorifiers, and water heaters.
- Provide exceptional service to clients, answering queries, reporting defects, and keeping them informed of site activities.
- Complete all work-related documentation accurately and promptly.
- Maintain a log of inspection reports and remedial work.

Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications required, e.g., C&G Level 3 or Level 5, NVQ, or HNC equivalent.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems of working.

Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a Maintenance/Facilities Management environment.
- Capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights, and in confined spaces.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- IT literate with the ability to use a mobile device.
- Full valid driving license.

Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
