Join our team as an HR Administrator and get involved in the core of our human resources operations. This is a great opportunity for a skilled administrator who is either interested in transitioning into HR or already has HR administration experience but wants to expand their skills and work in a leading manufacturing company. You will be supporting a site with over 700 employees, so this role will offer a diverse and fast-paced environment.

Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 5 pm and Friday 8:30 am – 4 pm

 
What you’ll be doing as an HR Administrator
The role is to support the HR department by managing administration tasks related to employment changes, absences, long service awards, and employee recognition. The role also involves processing absence management documentation and payroll deductions. Additionally, the HR Administrator will contribute to meeting company quality standards and focusing on continuous improvement while demonstrating the company values and behaviors.

 

Key responsibilities of the HR Administrator

  • Coordinate all administration tasks related to absence management, employment changes, long service awards, and employee of the month. 
  • Support HR Advisor with absence management administration if required. 
  • Responsible for coordinating Long Service Awards. 
  • Maintain and use HR payroll, data, and systems to provide management information. 
  • Address ad-hoc queries related to the employment cycle. 
  • Support HR Advisors in managing family-friendly policies – maternity, paternity, shared leave, and flexible working requests. 
  • Support Plant HR Team and identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Produce required reports to support KPI reporting. 
  • Support ad-hoc projects and ensure personal professional development. 
  • Support HRBP and HR Advisors to ensure accurate and timely employee communications.

 

About you
The ideal candidate needs to have proven administrative experience and exceptional attention to detail. In addition, strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proficient IT skills, including knowledge of databases, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
