Quantity Surveyor

Approach Personnel are partnering with our long standing client to recruit a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager. As a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager, you will be an integral part of the pre-construction team.

Duties

-            Working collaboratively as part of a team of costing and pre-construction professionals

-            Simultaneously managing multiple projects over a range of clients whilst maintaining excellent standards of service

-            Supervising the work of assistants and apprentices to help foster their professional development

-            Working directly with the client contacts and managing relationships, being a key point of contact

About You

-            Hold a degree in a field related to the role, such as Quantity Surveying or Construction Cost Management

-            Either a current Chartered Member, or a commitment to achieve Chartered Member status of the RICS

-            Experience in providing quantity surveying projects and a proficiency in using role related software, such as CostX Measurement

-            Full UK Driving License, Own Transport, and the ability to travel to different areas of the UK for site visits
