Gap Construction are currently recruiting for experienced Painters to work on a large commercial project in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Painters duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and removing old paint.
• Fill holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers.
• Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
• Ensure high-quality finishes on both interior and exterior surfaces.
• Clean up and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.

Painters Specification

• Valid CSCS card.
• Must have full PPE and own tools.
• Proven experience as a painter or similar role.
• Knowledge of painting techniques and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform manual tasks.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
