Freelance Groundworks Manager required for a 12 month contract on the construction of a £100 Million new build student accommodation project which will involve the demolition of an existing building, the construction of the new build student accommodation building, car park area, access roads, infrastructure and associated works. Working for the principle main contractor you will solely be responsible for the control, supervision and coordination for the entire subcontract groundworks package which will involve demo works, muck shift, site strip for new section of build works etc, other duties will also involve short term programming of works, RAMS, RFI's, health & safety, material/plant requisitions as well as holding chairing any subcontract/progress meetings. Other duties may also involve working alongside commercial/design team to assist with any commercial or design changes that may take place as well as coordination with the build team, Project Manager/Director and visiting Contracts Managers with any client liaison that also be involved.

Current CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid Certificates will be a mandatory requirement as no application will be considered without these and will also have to be fully computer literate

Ideal candidate will have prior experience managing groundworks subcontract packages or previously have a proven track record working for a reputable Midlands based groundworks subcontractor in either a Project/Site Manager capacity
