Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Salary up to £34,000

Trevett Services are working closely with a leading Biomedical Science site who are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on their static client site in Norwich.

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours a week with excellent career benefits and future opportunities.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:

• Carry out PPM & Reactive Maintenance duties on all mechanical building plant & equipment covering heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and water systems within a commercial setting.
• Respond to BMS alarms and carry out emergency repairs as required.
• Ensure that domestic water systems are maintained within requirements on the L8 standard.

Experience and qualifications required:

• NVQ or City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience carrying out PPM and Reactive Maintenance, including fault finding
• Good knowledge of general building services and Health & Safety
• Good knowledge in the industry working on commercial, private sector or residential contracts

This is a full time, permanent role, and the working hours are 40 hours a week, Mon – Fri with an on-call rota. In return you will receive a salary of up to £34,000 and a brilliant chance to join a growing FM team!
