The client, an independent Transport Consultancy who have been established since 2007, is on the lookout for a Trainee CAD designer to join the team based in Newcastle! The client works on projects across all sectors including complex residential, leisure, education, minerals, employment, logistics.
The Position is for a Trainee CAD designer, and would be most suited for a HNC/D Graduate.

The Position of a CAD Designer - Full Training Provided
- Preparation of technical drawings utilising AutoCAD.
- Preliminary design of access and basic junction design (priority, roundabouts, signalisation).
- Swept Path Analysis using AutoTrack.
- Preparation of high-quality graphics using GIS packages and/ or Corel Draw.
- Excellent communication skills; and
- Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
Essential Criteria for the candidate as a CAD Designer
- Position is suited for a HNC/D Graduate
- Excellent report writing, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within the supporting team.
- Solution-focused
- UK driving licence.
