Comprising a 490-acre farm, a 29-bedroom country house hotel, the 2 Rosette restaurant and 9 function/conference rooms, this hotel also provides a unique and attractive year round location for the perfect wedding.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Pastry Chef to run our pastry kitchen and take our dessert offering to the next level.

 This is a key role and is based in our purpose built and well-equipped pastry kitchen.

The ideal candidate would be well organised, creative and ambitious and able to innovate new ideas .

Pastry Chef - What's involved?

Creation and service of desserts for weddings and events.

Creation of desserts for the Granary kitchen and stables restaurant.

Preparation of afternoon tea sweets and pastries.

Working with the senior chef team on menu development and new ideas.

Essential criteria: Previous experience in a high-end pastry department – this could be in retail/hotel /contract catering or restaurant based.

A keen eye for detail, sense of pride and an in-depth knowledge of current food trends.

A team player, an ability to support & communicate effectively with other sections in the kitchen - a problem solver who thrives under pressure.

A flair for producing great tasting, beautiful food.
