The Job People are looking for several General Operative based in Shirley, Solihull
Details of a General Operative based in Shirley, Solihull
- Monday to Friday - 7.30am till 5pm
- Static Shifts
- Pay £12 - £13 Per hour
- Overtime available
- Long term opportunity
As a General Operative you would be required but not limited to:
- Use various hand and power tools
- Operating a Guillotine and Brake Press
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- General workshop duties
- Basic machine operations
- Stock control
- General housekeeping duties
- Additional duties as required
As General Operative you would ideally have the below skills
- The ability to prioritise tasks and adopt a flexible approach to working methods
- The ability to work within a team environment
- Previous experience operating an overhead crane
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance fork lift truck
- Previous experience using a band saw and cutting steel
