Job Title:Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Location:South Worcester / Gloucester
Thorn Baker is teaming up with a Housing Developer who are expanding their commercial team in the West Midlands region.
They are looking for an experiencedQS to help oversee housing projects across the south Worcester / Gloucester area. Committed to the highest standards of design, construction, and service this is an opportunity to work with an incredibly successful company with over 85 years' experience across the UK.

Your Responsibilities:
- Surveying work in housebuilding, associated procedures and practices including subcontract procurement
- Valuation of subcontractor payment applications
- Negotiation of final accounts
- Preparation of monthly cost reports
- Responsible for running a number of developments across the region
- Working cohesively with the land, technical, construction and sales teams respectively
- Assist in maintaining the regions portfolio house type cost database used for future land acquisitions
Required Skills:
- Minimum qualification HND in Quantity Surveying.
- 2+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role for a housing developer
- Proficient with IT systems - Microsoft packages and CRM systems
- Full UK driving licence.
