Due to continued investment and growth, a market-leading electronics manufacturer are looking to hire a Product Compliance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis at their site in Portsmouth.

This is a varied technical role that involves ensuring that products comply with industry regulatory compliance requirements alongside other test and R&D activities. 

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Integrating compliance considerations and requirements into product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinating product testing activities to validate compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Interpreting and applying regulatory standards, ensuring that all products meet relevant regulations and standards.
  • Managing and maintaining product compliance documentation, including test reports, technical files, and declarations of conformity.

To be considered for this position, candidates ideally need to have proven experience working on compliance for electronic or electrical products. The position may also suit an electronic test or design engineer with a good understanding on LV directive and/or EMC testing.  

It would be advantageous to hold a formal qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, etc.) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.

In addition to a competitive salary, this position comes with 33 days holiday, company pension scheme, profit share scheme, flexible start and finish times, and the ability to work from home up to two days per week.
