4th Line Desktop Analyst (AVD & InTune) – Hybrid/Manchester City Centre - 3 months+ - Umbrella rate £400/£450 p/d (max)
This is a real roll your sleeves up and get stuck in 3rd / 4th Level support role, with required core skills in Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft InTune (AutoPilot).
Our client is modernising their desktop environment and are looking for a 3rd / 4th level support contractor to bolster the team over a busy project and BAU period.
To apply you should have the following skills and experience:
3 month initial contract but chance of an extension as new acquisition integration and migration projects are planned and due to kick off in August. Immediate start, interview to offer ASAP.

To apply you should have the following skills and experience:
- Be technically comfortable providing 3rd and 4th Line Microsoft Desktop support.
- Strong experience of monitoring, managing, maintaining and supporting Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
- Ability to be the ‘go to’ Azure Virtual Desktop person in the team as this is an immature environment and the team have only just started to support.
- Microsoft InTune (AutoPilot) - Knowledge of managing, maintaining and supporting Desktop and Mobile Hardware, OS Builds and application deployment using InTune (AutoPilot).
- Good knowledge of the configuration of Policies in Microsoft InTune.
- Extensive experience of managing, maintaining and supporting a Microsoft Windows 10 desktop computing environment, including LAPS/MBAM.
- Good knowledge of On-premise/Azure Active Directory, including Group Policy (GPMC).
- Good Knowledge of supporting users of M365 services such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business.
- Have experience of using SCCM for Patch deployment, OS Task sequence builds and application deployment.
- Support, maintenance and management of Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp or Microsoft Azure VDI infrastructure including the creation/management/patching of Gold images.
- Ideally Microsoft Windows Defender for Endpoint and the Advanced Web controls
- Mobile Device management.
- Sophos Central AV
- Administration and Management of File and Print services.
- Management of Citrix ShareFile.
- Management of RSA SecureID Infrastructure (Users and Token management).
- Good understanding of ITIL V3 methodology including Incident, Problem, Change Management and IT Asset Management
- Experience of supervising/supporting colleagues
