Do you have experience designing products for manufacture/fabrication? Do you have experience with Rebar Detailing?
Excellent opportunity for a Rebar Detailer looking to take up an exciting role in an industry leading company, with the chance for significant progression into senior/management roles, supported by ample in-house training.
This construction company is a worldwide industry leader who specialise in steel reinforcement and provides their service to prestigious clients on ambitious and highly known projects worldwide. The work this company carries out is often of a highly bespoke nature so you will always have opportunities to develop your knowledge. This company has enjoyed continual success and growing demand and they now require a Rebar Detailer to join their close-knit and highly skilled team.
In this role you will be responsible for the rebar detailing process, taking and checking fabrication drawings put together by your colleagues and detailing them up according to rebar detailing standards. You will also be working alongside other management staff, in order to work as a team to deadlines.
The ideal candidate for this role will have Rebar detailing experience and have knowledge of British regulations and standards. It is not essential however it is desirable to have REVIT skills/experience.
The Role

• Rebar Detailer
• Checking the design and development of fabrication drawings
• Using Autodesk Revit to produce 3D models
• Checking drawings are in accordance of British rebar detailing standards
• Document control

The Person

• Has a good understanding of UK Rebar regulations/standards
• A team player that is ambitious and eager to learn
• Able to commute to Chatham
