Timeplan Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced ICT Teacher to join an alternative education provision in the Newton Abbot area. This school, part of a reputable not-for-profit organisation, is known for its pupil-centric approach, nurturing environment, and excellent resources.
Role: ICT Teacher
Location: Newton Abbot, Devon
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 8:45 am to 4:45 pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: September 2024 (or earlier)
Salary: £30,000 to £41,333
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective ICT lessons tailored to secondary age pupils with additional needs.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures student growth and learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Utilise the school's excellent resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher status with a strong background in ICT.
- Proven experience teaching learners with additional needs in a SEN setting.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students learning at a functional level.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to creating a nurturing and pupil-centric learning environment.

- Must be a driver with access to your own car, due to the semi-rural location of the school.
