Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Swimming Pool Engineer to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of swimming pools and associated equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair swimming pools, filtration systems, pumps, heaters, and other related equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to pool systems and equipment, providing effective solutions.
  • Water Quality Management: Test and treat pool water to maintain optimal chemical balance and comply with health and safety standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service calls, and client interactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Proven experience as a swimming pool engineer or in a similar role.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pool equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to provide high-quality customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physical tasks and working in various weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Education: Relevant technical qualification or certification in pool maintenance, plumbing, or electrical systems.
  • Licenses: Valid UK driving license.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
  • Background Check: Successful candidates will be required to undergo a background check.
