Job Description for the General Teaching Assistant in Chorlton, M21:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school community in Chorlton, M21. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students' learning and development across various subjects and year groups.

Key Responsibilities for the General Teaching Assistant in Chorlton, M21:

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students to enhance their learning experience
• Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
• Support students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods as required
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources

Requirements for the General Teaching Assistant in Chorlton, M21:

• Essential experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
