This is a great way to get experience if you are seeking a career within education. As a Psychology Graduate you will be working within the class to support the teacher with their lessons, you will be working alongside a team of support staff. 

As a Psychology Graduate supporting young people with SEN, you will:

• Work closely with SEN coordinators, teachers, and support staff to develop and implement individualised support plans
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them overcome academic, social, and emotional challenges
• Utilise your psychological expertise to assess students' needs and progress, and adjust interventions accordingly
• Collaborate with families to ensure consistent support and to foster a holistic approach to each child's development
• Assist in creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes the well-being and success of all students

The Role:

• Location: Stockport
• Salary: £20000- £25000 per annum
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Type: Full Time

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology (BSc, MSc, or equivalent)
• A genuine passion for working with young people and a strong commitment to supporting those with SEN
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in an educational or care setting is desirable but not essential
