Finance and Practice Manager required. My client is a well-established firm of chartered accountants based in Worcestershire. They are a close-knit team of around 35 spread over four unique offices, who offer a wide range of services to their clients, specialising in working for owner-managed and family-run businesses
Due to recent expansion, they are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Finance and Practice Manager to join their welcoming and friendly team.
Finance and Practice Manager Position Overview
- Take responsibility for the finance function of the practice
- Production of monthly management accounts, KPI's and other financial reports
- Ensure compliance is upheld with the ICAEW and other regulatory requirements
- Provide support to the teams across their four offices
- Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Manage the sales ledger - including direct debit collections and credit control
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Support with any adhoc projects
The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA fully qualified and have previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
Finance and Practice Manager Position Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
- Knowledge of Xero software
- Experience writing reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fantastic IT skills; in particular Word and Excel
- Must hold a valid driving licence (essential)
