About the role

Supply Desk is delighted to be able to offer an exciting Teaching Assistant role at a ‘Good’ secondary school in Crawley, that seeks to give students the opportunity to achieve in a fair and positive environment. As a Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the teacher and students directly and assisting with a variety of tasks in the classroom.

Key responsibilities

• To provide detailed and regular feedback on students’ achievement, progress and needs
• To attend to the students’ personal needs where required.
• To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students.
• To prepare and maintain equipment/resources as directed by the teacher and assist students in their use.
• To accompany teaching staff and students on visits, trips and off-site activities as required.

To succeed in this role you will be

• Experienced working with children
• Local to Crawley or willing to commute
• Adaptable to meet children’s needs
• Passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential
