Are you passionate about making a positive impact in education? Are you a qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity?

Class People are working closely with a school in Cirencester who are looking to appoint two Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to join their team for the start of the new academic year. One would be working within Key Stage 1, while the other would be for Key Stage 2. We are seeking two dedicated individuals with experience within mainstream schools who can help with the provision of quality education alongside a strong, committed team, but also someone that has the capacity to be able to lead a class in staff absence. Experience working with individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) would be desirable but not essential. 


Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning activities.
- Provide tailored support to students with SEND, fostering their academic and personal development.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised learning programmes.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create inclusive learning environments.
- Contribute to the assessment and tracking of student progress.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working within mainstream education.
- Experience in supporting students with SEND/SEMH needs is advantageous.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
