About Us:
Sychem surgical has just purchased a 100-year-old surgical instruments manufacturing business based in Sheffield and is looking for an on-site Operations Manager. We’re producing and repairing surgical instruments in line with ISO13485 and have big plans to grow the business from a 7 to 8 figure global supplier.

To allow us to hit our goals we require a slick business operator to take hold of the onsite team and drive efficiency and growth. Sychem surgical is a part of the TS group of companies that specialise in medical device distribution and process products. We’re a combined work force of 120+ people and within this operations role you will report directly to the CCO.

This role will involve having key control over operational responsibilities such as having a strong Commercial & Financial Acumen, Understanding Manufacturing processes & procedures, identifying businesses improvement opportunities and being able to plan, organise and coordinate production s schedules and so on….

In return, we are offering a basic salary of up to £55,000 P/A and various company benefits including pension contribution and 25 days holidays.

Duties for this role will include:

• Proven experience of leading and growing a manufacturing function
• A relevant manufacturing/engineering degree
• Previous experience in Sage and an internal MRP system is Advantageous
