- They have a HQ in Milton Keynes and this Buyer - Manufacturing (On Site) role will join this reputable firm who have a strong market presence and is renowned for its high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Description
- Procure materials and services in accordance with company policies.
- Evaluate and select suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
Profile
A background in purchasing, procurement & project buying for a manufacturing organisation. FMCG or Industrial is perfect!- Have a good technical understanding of typical manufacturing processes such as extrusions, high pressure diecasting, plastic injection molding, electronics/electronics supply chain.
- Demonstrate a high level of ownership whilst working in a dynamic fast-moving team environment where work spans the boundaries with other departments and functions.
- Remain open minded and able to adapt to change and competing priorities on a day-to-day basis
Job Offer
- Up to £45,000 salary plus 10% bonus
- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays and Christmas shut down
- On site role, based in Milton Keynes
- CIPS support
