Job Title: GENT Commissioning Engineer

Location: North East England

Rate: £350 p/day

We are seeking an experienced Gent Commissioning Engineer to oversee the installation and commissioning of Fire Detection systems across various sites in the North East. This role involves supervising subcontractors, managing site health and safety, and ensuring all systems are commissioned according to Gent specifications.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of Fire Detection systems, ensuring compliance with Gent standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and oversee site operations to maintain high safety and quality standards.
  • Perform detailed commissioning and testing of all installed systems.
  • Complete and manage all necessary commissioning documentation and paperwork.

Experience required:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in fire system commissioning, specifically with Gent systems.
  • Must possess a valid Gent certification and have an active Gent number to perform commissioning tasks.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • SSSTS certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • ECS / CSCS card is essential.
  • Must provide own hand tools, power tools, steps, ladders, and laptop.
  • Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required, including boots, trousers, and glasses.
