Role Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maths Tutor who will work with learners to help them to acheive their Level 2 qualification in Maths.

You should have previous experience working with disengaged learners across Greater Manchester, who each have additional needs.  This could include special education needs, low academic, emotional/behavioural disorders, drug and alcohol, mental health or engagement with youth offending service.  

You will plan and deliver a face-to-face Maths curriculum to promote the attainment of retainable knowledge, skills and behaviours whilst making reasonable adjustments to meet the individual needs of learners across a wide variety of provisions. You will work with learners currently undertaking Apprenticeships, Adult learning, ESF and Study programme). You will delivering to both 121 and small groups.  You will have at least 5 years vocational industry experience, have delivered to Ofsted standards and hold or be working towards a Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent qualification, e.g., PGCE, OR PTTLS.

Due to the nature of this role you will be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
