We are recruiting on behalf of the UK's leading manufacturers of glass who have a vacancy for an experienced HR Advisor to work at their Midlands branch in Oldbury.

This a is a broad and varied opportunity that will focus on the following areas:

  • HR administration to include contract, handbook, and general policy maintenance using company HR systems
  • Assist the HR Manager with the development and administration of HR systems and procedures
  • Assist in all aspects of staff recruitment and training
  • Assist in new starter onboarding and inductions
  • Administration of timesheets, leave and absence data
  • Act as the first line of contact for employee queries
  • Produce and update employee documentation
  • Assist HR team colleagues with the implementation of new employee benefit plans and initiatives
  • Develop training programs, and support managers as necessary to ensure delivery and upskilling of employees
  • Support QSHE team to promote staff health and wellbeing activities
  • Collating staff timesheets and assisting with payroll input and checking
  • Other adhoc administration duties as required to assist the HR Manager

The ideal candidate will possess at least 18 months of recently gained exposure within the people management function.

It is essential that all applicants be qualified to CIPD level 3 as a minimum qualification and experience in a similar HR position.

This is a full-time permanent position, working hours are 08:00 am - 5:00 pm.
