We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our a waste management team. As a Refuse Collector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and health of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and dispose of refuse from residential and commercial properties across Denbighshire.
- Operate and maintain refuse collection vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure all refuse is collected in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety and operational guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any public queries or concerns.
Requirements:
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in waste management or a similar role is an advantage but not required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
This is a full time temporary ongoing role, working Monday to Friday, 1pm - 6pm and Saturday 7am - 6pm. On an hourly rate of £11.79.
