EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled Pressure Testure / Goods In Inspector to join a precision engineering company located in the Nottinghamshire area, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct pressure testing on high-integrity components and assemblies to ensure they are fit for purpose
• Perform inspections of subcontracted goods, verifying measurements against engineering drawings, and inspecting coatings and other subcontract processes
• Inspect incoming materials and record non-conformities using the NCR System
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to confirm components meet requirements
• Collaborate with the quality department to meet deliverable targets and continuously improve documentation, processes, and components
• Perform receiving and store activities when incoming goods inspection is not required
