Job Description

Activities to be carried out as part of the service:

The service will be delivered within the EDF EPR Engineering UK Limited company (EPR-E) and in support of the Edvance SZC Contract Management team, as a Contract Support Officer (CSO).

It will entail contract management and administration support for the Edvance SZC Commercial Management Team, working closely with the all Contract Managers in the team (in France and in the UK), as well as Contract Managers part of the wider projects in other organisations of the Consortium.

The service will be provided for the benefit for the Edvance Contract Management Team, responsible for the management of contractual matters relating to the Nuclear Island part of the Nuclear Service Agreement (NSA) contract between SZC and the contractor.

The service will consist of:

· Assisting a team of ~8 Commercial Managers with structuring collaborative work, via management of the following activities :

  • Own and maintain shared team activity trackers
  • Support in administration of contract tools (CEMAR, Unifier for risks), taking the lead on behalf of the team for performance of some systems activities
  • Provide structure to establish better collaborative ways of working (use of sharepoint, rules with folder structures, creation of standardised contract communication templates)
  • Manage contractual documentation

· Management of key team KPIs and internal reporting

  • Preparation and presentation of key team performance KPIs, in support of the Head of Contract Management, and Deputy Head of Contract Management
  • Sourcing, collation, and management of required data

· General support in organisation of meetings, such as :

  • Diary management for coordination activities (such as Kick-off meetings)
  • Note taking and issuance of Minutes of Meetings
Qualifications
  • Prior experience providing administrative support in large, complex teams essential
  • Expérience of note taking and governance support
  • Prior experience on Nuclear Project an advantage
  • Prior experience supporting Contract or Legal team an advantage
  • Prior experience of working on NEC type of contract an advantage
  • Demonstrable organisation skills, with ability to organise data, and provide infrastructure required to work collaboratively
  • Proactivity and ability to deal with competing deadlines and demands and identify priorities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Stakeholder management, with ability to engage effectively with colleagues of differing seniority level, and based at different geographical locations
