Department 

The Contract Management Team are responsible for the management of the clients strategic, high value and complex contracts from contract signature to end of life. The team ensures that the suppliers deliver the value, quality and compliance in line with the contract and correct performance when needed. The team manage in-life change to our existing contracts. 

The role

We’re looking for a Test Delivery Lead to join our Testing Services team under the CTO area who is responsible for overseeing, support and coordination of the testing undertaken by Customers in the User Integration testing environment they seek to integrate their devices and systems with the central DCC systems. 

·          Managing and working with service providers and service users to establish what testing is required and how it will be assessed and reported against Smart Energy Code (SEC) requirements.

·          Assuring that our systems, including those of our service providers, have been thoroughly tested and are ready for live operation, as they integrate their devices and systems with the central systems in support of their rollout plans following government 2020 direction.

·          Providing facilities for customers, meter manufactures and other categories of test participants. 

·          Collate and procuce information on the progress and test issues that our customer have encountered

We’re looking for:

Technical

Testing expert - Experience in managing or leading testing activities – demonstrates a clear understanding of test artefacts, test execution, test reporting and test issue resolution.

Expert in Delivery and Transition – for effective transition of releases from projects to implementation into Testing Services Team to rollout delivery of new release to customers.

strong understanding of the DUIS specification

understanding of the GBCS specification

IT Background

Ability to report on progress internally and externally  

Interpersonal

Keenness and ability to identify and propose process improvements and find alternative solutions to issues faced by the team.

Recognising the varied nature and loading of the work, the individual should be comfortable working within a challenging and dynamic environment.

Experience in delivering presentations.

Project Management to PRINCE2 Practitioner level.

Able to build kety relationship within our company and other service providers. 

Customer management- strong stakeholder management skills

Demonstrate a clear understanding of test artefacts, test execution, test reporting and test issue resolution
