Job Description
My client is seeking a Quality Manager to join their expanding team, following continuous growth.
Role Overview:
Lead all aspects of Technical and Quality Management. The role requires compliance with food safety legislation, ISO 22000, and BRC standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, focusing on BRC and ISO accreditation.
- Develop and implement the Quality and Food Safety Management System.
- Improve manufacturing facility operational effectiveness.
- Review non-conformances and customer complaints.
- Manage internal audit schedules.
- Maintain technical documentation and specifications.
- Approve and audit suppliers, maintaining an approved database.
- Lead and develop the Technical Department.
- Advise on food safety, hygiene, labelling, and health and safety legislation.
- Maintain the company’s AA-grade BRC accreditation status.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within the food industry.
- Training/qualifications in Food Safety, HACCP, Health & Safety, and internal auditing.
- Familiarity with ERP-based manufacturing environments.
