Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will inspire and engage students, fostering a love for literature and language. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to students of varying abilities
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles
• Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and school events
• Support students’ social and emotional growth, providing guidance and encouragement
• Stay updated with the latest educational trends and best practices in English teaching

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• A degree in English or a related field
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
• Ability to inspire and motivate students

Desirable:

• Experience teaching A-Level English
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum
• Experience with special educational needs (SEN)
