Trainee Road Freight Forwarder

Location: Hinckley

Salary: £21,000pa

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm

My client is looking for a Trainee Freight Forwarder to join their team and support the business' Road Freight Operations. You will have the opportunity to develop your career in logistics, eventually becoming a fully-fledged Road Freight Operator. Your new career in Logistics starts here!

Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering import documents and executing import entries.
• Speak with customers, handling any requests and questions.
• Liaise with Transport companies and sipping lines and organising deliveries.
• Liaise with 3PL suppliers and warehousing.
• Be an integral part of the Road Freight Team and support the Account Management with day-to-day operations.
  
  

Requirements:

• Keen to learn and start your career in logistics.
• Excellent telephone manner, customer service and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Previous exposure to the logistics and supply chain industry advantageous, but not essential.
