Electrical Maintenance Engineer | Mobile between 2 sites (Edgbaston / Chesterfield) | £40,000 + £4.5 Salary Allowances + Overtime.

Due to a new site opening, we are actively recruiting for a mobile electrical maintenance engineer to work on a mobile basis between 2 sites in Chesterfield and Edgbaston. Both sites will be staffed with a static, full time engineer and you will work as the mobile engineer between the two, providing additional support.

Package:

• Salary: £40,000
• Up to £4.5K in additional salary allowances
• Company van and fuel card provided
• Locations: 2 sites located in Chesterfield / Edgbaston
• Environment: Private hospital practise
• Paid overtime available at x1.5 – x2 rates.
• Call out 1 in 3 / 4 weeks. £125-£150 standby allowance + minimum 4 hours if called out. (Sites are un-maned over night and call outs on the contract all together are quite rare).
• Training and salary allowances: the business will pay for multiple AP courses (Medgas, Electrical, LV, Mechanical Pressure Systems etc), each time you pass one of these, the business will give you an additional £1,500 per course on your salary.
• Progression opportunities across an expanding contract.
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.

Requirements:

• Must be a fully qualified Electrician to one of the following standards or equivalent: City and Guilds 236 Part 2 / City and Guilds 2330 Level 3 / City and Guilds Electrotechnical Level 3 + 18th Edition.
• Must have experience working within commercial property maintenance.
• Able to legally work and drive in the UK.
• Hospital experience would be a massive bonus but not essential.
