Established in 1989, Our client is the UK's leading passive fire protection specialist, supplying a comprehensive range of third-party accredited survey, installation and compliance services to public and private sector organisations across the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Become the single sales lead for the projects division. Achieve and report yours & your team targets & objectives to the Regional Director. Working nationally, managing a team of TBDMs
  • Produce clear weekly metrics on the projects division performance to include enquiry rates, quote rates, win ratios etc You will be responsible for ensuring quote activity is meeting customer expectations across all value bids
  • Attain, grow and relationship manage clients as the new product grows, a development of understanding of the technical commercials, providing a solution focussed service for clients
  • As a dual role you will be expected to deliver your personal target expectations together with the overall TBDM projects division target
  • Working closely with the Marketing Manager launch and develop market proposition
  • Ability to lead and develop convincing bids to best position the business to achieve its growth aspirations
  • Identify opportunities early in the sales cycle to ensure maximum share of wallet and assist in the technical sell of other potential new products
  • Provide positive leadership & representation of the business to the public, customers, & serving on company project teams, conducting employee meetings, visiting work areas & interacting with employees
  • Actively participate in regular pipeline reviews, ensuring all CRM records are up to date and critical success factors are identified for key opportunities

Experience:

  • Significant technical knowledge and experience within Passive Fire
  • The ability to manage and coach
  • Build lasting relationships and the ability to influence at all levels
  • Confident negotiator at all levels from Finance/Procurement, architects, etc
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
  • Ability to remain calm, prioritise, delegate and drive actions forward when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to present to clients and wider industry in a cohesive, confident and compelling manner
  • Experience negotiating £1m+ opportunities, undertaking presentations both written and in person
