Location: Weybridge, Surrey, UK - 4 days per week
Contract: Permanent - Full time
Salary: £110K per annum (depending on experience & competency)
Are you a seasoned IT Business Development professional with a knack for leading dynamic teams and delivering high-impact projects? Our client is looking for a Senior IT Business Development Manager to join our Management MSP team in Weybridge. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders in Europe and other strategic partners, driving business growth and innovation across the continent.
What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Manage: Oversee a team of 10+ business development, project management, and technical specialists. Drive the team to meet financial goals and departmental objectives.
  • Project Sales and Delivery: Sell IT consulting projects and manage them from initiation through to completion, including in-flight projects.
  • Consulting and Coordination: Provide IT solutions to resolve issues faced by subsidiaries across Europe. Structure and negotiate complex deals, managing strategic partnerships.
  • Business Development: Play a key role in generating new clients and sales, developing a robust sales pipeline using your professional network.
  • Strategic Management: Build and execute category strategies for both the business and clients. Lead significant projects and programs, collaborating with directors and partners.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Identify key project stakeholders and build effective relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify risks, recommend contingency plans, and track issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present and Report: Prepare and present project plans, business requirement documentation, and reports for senior managers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Educational Background: Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Proven Leadership: Experience in managing diverse teams with a consistent focus on revenue growth and business results.
  • IT Consulting Experience: 5+ years in IT consulting with a strong problem-solving and solution proposal skillset.
  • Strategic Thinker: High business intelligence, with strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Clear oral and written communication, with the ability to present complex value propositions to senior executives.
  • Proactive and Independent: Self-starter with the ability to work in unstructured environments and juggle multiple projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of MS Office Tools (Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with software development tools like Jira and Confluence is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: 10+ years in the IT or electronic goods industry, with experience in digital strategy deployment, web-based solutions, and agile development.
  • Project Management Certification: Preferred but not essential.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP, CRM, e-commerce, RPA, BI, Data, AI systems.
