We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join our friendly and professional team.

About the Role

  • Provide first-line and second-line support over the phone, email, desk-side and remotely.
  • Offer help and support to over 300 users with varying hardware, including PCs, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
  • Be responsible for the company's various processes and improving them.
  • Translate business challenges and ideas into workable solutions.
  • Work with existing suppliers to utilise or develop features.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements.
  • Manage entire projects from scoping, testing, and trialling to rollout.
  • A mixture of working in the office and from home. During probation, it will be full-time in the office.

Essential Skills

The ideal candidate:

  • You must have a clear interest and aptitude for IT and demonstrate enthusiasm for the role.
  • You must be confident and outgoing, with an excellent telephone manner.
  • You must work well under pressure and take instruction well.
  • The role will require some travelling during work time to visit our depots. A willingness to travel is a must, and a full driving licence and own transport would be beneficial.
  • You must be IT literate with experience with Office365 and Windows OS.
  • You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • You should have basic troubleshooting skills.


Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience producing and improving process documentation.
  • Knowledge of InspHire, BigChange or Microsoft CRM.
  • Previous experience of using any RMM and/or a ticketing system.
  • Experience in a customer service role.
  • Problem-solving skills.
