Principal Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)
Location: Bristol, UK

As part of their expansion, they are now seeking a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Bristol team and contribute to their ongoing success.

Roles & Responsibilities:
As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
* Lead and manage mechanical design projects from inception to completion.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
* Develop innovative and sustainable mechanical design solutions.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
* Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and technical assessments.
* Prepare detailed mechanical designs, specifications, and reports.
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and tools.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
* Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within a consultancy environment.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
