Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a Bespoke service provider, who work nationally throughout the UK, the company in question are looking for a Field Service Engineer.

Job Role:
As a Field Service engineer, you are responsible for keeping customers in production through routine maintenance. Your time will be spent at customer sites, with travel throughout the UK to be expected. Overnight stays when travelling will be necessary. Our engineers work both independently and as part of a team depending on the job, and in close collaboration with customers' own engineering staff.

Typical Duties will involve:

• Work as part of the service team to provide on-site installation and technical support service for customer equipment.
• Respond to breakdown calls and complete planned maintenance.
• Complete final tests on all work undertaken, taking action to rectify any faults identified.
• Deal professionally, competently, and courteously with customers, suppliers, and colleagues in verbal and written communications.
• Planning and making routine maintenance visits to customers.
• Delivering and installing new machinery.
• Accurately record and report all activities using the relative documents provided by the customers and the company.
• Responsibly manage the company vehicle, tools and stock provided.
• Maintenance of an appropriate tool kit, with any issues or deficiencies reported to Management in a timely manner.
• Prepare and write customer visit reports for internal and external use where needed, utilising the company software system.
• Full understanding and compliance with industry and company Health & Safety policies.

Desirable experience.

• Must have a relevant Engineering qualification, either Mechanical or Electrical.
• Sound electrical and mechanical engineering skills from any background.
• Good communication skills both written and oral are essential for building relationships with customers and suppliers alike.
• Full, clean UK driver's licence.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK and travel to Ireland.
