Our client, a leading built environment consultancy, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Solihull. This consultancy is dedicated to transforming the quality and sustainability of the built environment through their expertise and commitment to their people's growth and wellbeing.
Position Overview
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing infrastructure projects from start to finish. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless project delivery, client satisfaction, and the consultancy's continued success in shaping sustainable built environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects, programmes, and portfolios from inception to close out
- Work with NEC suite of contracts to ensure smooth project delivery
- Establish effective communication and reporting procedures with clients and design teams
- Arrange feasibility studies to assess project viability and mitigate risks
- Manage project finances, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines
- Undertake contract administration to maintain project integrity
- Prepare comprehensive reports for clients, keeping them informed of progress
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve exceptional results
Requirements
- Proven consultancy construction project management experience in the infrastructure sector
- Familiarity with the Environment Agency's projects and processes is advantageous
- Strong ability to lead projects and manage client relationships effectively
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software is essential
- Relevant engineering or project management degree is required
- Additional experience in risk management, detailed design management, stakeholder engagement, and procurement and contract strategies is beneficial
