Position: Embedded Software Engineer
Salary: Up to £50,000 + Benefits
Office Location: Leeds
The Role: KO2 are now working with a growing engineering business in the Leeds area looking to add an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to their team. Our client has been growing their team due to new project work and are looking for an embedded engineer who has experience developing products from scratch and also updating existing products, adding new features and functionality.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Embedded C
- Bare metal or RTOS development
- STM32, ARM or Microchip PIC
- RS232, RS485, SPI, I2C, CANbus protocols
- Full software life cycle experience
You will be joining a multidisciplined engineering team and can expect plenty of variety in this role. Contributing at all stages of the development life cycle, writing new code, reviewing specifications, in house testing, debugging and providing the required documentation. You will be joining a team of technology enthusiasts creating software solutions that monitor, control and collect data from a range of electronic devices.
Desirable Experience:
- C++ programming
- Linux
- Version control - Git, SVN or similar
