We are working on behalf of a Good School in Balsall Heath who are opening a Resource Base for primary-aged pupils on the autistic spectrum with Education, Health and Care plans.

We are looking to appoint a committed Teaching assistant to join their team.

. As a member of the resource base team, you will work alongside two teachers and two Level 3 teaching assistants, to meet the pupils' needs. You will also have opportunities to work alongside staff in a successful mainstream school.

Successful candidates will also:

• Successful experience of working with SEND pupils, particularly those on the autistic spectrum

• have a good knowledge of autism and a willingness to learn more

• work collaboratively and effectively with others

• be an enthusiastic, hardworking professional who can motivate and inspire children

• be punctual and reliable

• have high expectations of themselves and others and be committed to promoting high standards

• commit to safeguarding our pupils.
