Job Title: HVAC Commissioning Engineer
Location: Bristol, Somerset
Salary: 28,000 - 50,000 DOE + Benefits + Company Vehicle
We are currently working closely with a leading clean air company, who offer specialist commissioning and validation services to a portfolio of Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Educational sites. Our client is currently recruiting for a professional HVAC commissioning engineer to cover contracts across the South West. The ideal candidate will come from a strong commissioning background and will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of providing balancing and commissioning services to various HVAC systems. The client is open to experience level and happy to receive CVs from assistant through to intermediate and senior level.
The client is open to location across the South West including; Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Keynsham, Yate, Bath, Burnham-on-Sea, Bridgwater, Glastonbury, Frome, Trowbridge, Warminster, Devizes, Chippenham, Stroud, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Swindon, Marlborough, Amesbury, Salisbury, Cardiff, Swansea, Neath and Newport.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Current / previous experience working as a commissioning engineer.
- Experience balancing water / HVAC systems to BSRIA & CIBSE guidelines.
- CSA grades (desirable).
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Commissioning and validation of HVAC and Water systems to ensure compliance with BSRIA / CIBSE codings.
- Verifying AHUs, ventilation and water distribution systems to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Auditing AHUs and following audits with any necessary work to ensure compliance.
- Balancing of both air and water systems (fan coils, AHUs, extract systems, primary and secondary air, LTHW / CHW).
- Adjusting voltages for secondary FCUs.
- Drawing schematics and using these to prepare all relevant paperwork prior to Pre-Commissioning balancing.
