The Role

My client is an industry leader in the personal storage industry. They have invested in the most modern manufacturing machinery currently available in Europe, bringing their facility to be a World Class production environment. On their mission for growth & expansion, they are looking to employee an Assembly Supervisor to join their team.

Assembly Supervisor

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate assembly production, ensuring that work is allocated effectively.
• Effectively communicate with other departments to prioritise workload in accordance with plan requirements.
• Ensure that quality is kept in line with ISO 9001.
• Help to form and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve company process.
• Assisting other assemblers’ jobs, but ultimately training and mentoring them to be self-sufficient.
• Assemble machined products.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are met, promoting a safe working environment.
• Carrying out spot checks to ensure quality levels.
• Ensuring acceptable levels of Overall Equipment Effectiveness are achieved.
• Booking in finished items and issuing materials used.

Assembly Supervisor

The Candidate

• Must have prior experience supervising in an assembly area.
• Ideally be from a sheet metal environment.
• Must be able to read engineering drawings.
• Must be comfortable assembling products.
• Must be able to communicate effectively across departments.
