Geotechnical Engineer

A ground investigation consultancy based in Derby and with other 30 years of experience in the industry are seeking a driven Geotechnical Engineer to join the team on a variety of specialist projects around the East Midlands. This expanding team has plenty of new and exciting geotechnical and geo-environmental projects to work on and can offer excellent career progression prosects.

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be provided with:

The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be:

• Contributing to and carrying out site investigations.
• Borehole logging and trial pitting.
• Carrying out contaminated land risk assessments and Phase 1 Desktop Studies.
• Writing factual and interpretive reports.
• Recommending and implementing foundation and remediation designs.
• Liaising closely with clients and supervising investigations.

Therefore the Geotechnical Engineer successful in their application will have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant (with good site experience), have a degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering or geotechnical engineering, hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence and live in or close to Derby. A full right to work in the UK is also essential.
