Engineering Supervisor - DAYS

Shift: 4 on / 4 off

Hours: 6am -6pm

Location: Geary’s Bakeries Ltd | Unit D | Optimus Way | Glenfield | Leicester | LE3 8JR

The Role

Our Engineering Supervisors at Geary’s are the best thing since sliced bread – quite literally! You’re responsible for managing and developing your team of Shift Engineers, whilst being a main focul point for all strategic engineering initiatives, PPM and real time reactive maintenance engineering. Your main responsibilities include:

• Co-ordination of all Engineering activity, including external contractors

• Maintaining effective Engineering systems (including CMMS, PMs, handovers etc)
• Project management of Engineering-led Capex improvements

•  Effective documentation and record keeping, including inductions, Return to Work interviews, work permits etc
• Ordering required parts, tools etc in adherence with Engineering budget
• Ownership of Engineering training and development, including 121s and performance appraisals
• Effectively communicating with departments in wider business
• Taking an active role in audits and high-profile visits
