Location: Blyth, Worksop

Pay Rate: £12 per hour.

Full-Time, Mon-Fri (08:00 to 16:30)

Initial 3 month contract with potential to become Ongoing.

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to work with our client (leading logistics provider). You will be supporting the Regional & Area Operations Managers on an important contract by providing administrative support in all aspects of their activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Administration Manager, along with the Operations Management team in the daily management of the assigned contract.
  • Ensure Weekly Quicks & KPI’s, Payroll are completed accurately & on time, supporting other administrators where necessary.
  • Assist with booking of agency personnel and manage all daily changes in shift plan and any unplanned absences.
  • Answer all telephone calls and emails in a professional manner.
  • Maintain internal Management Data Spreadsheets and systems on a regular basis and in line with weekly deadlines.
  • Ensure population of Tachomaster with all absences/rest days ensuring regular housekeeping to keep the system live and up to date.
  • Ensure DVLA licence checks have been requested and verified for agency bookings.
  • Ensure SSOW documents have been signed by agency personnel prior to start of shift.
  • Daily management of the agency register and agency issues tracker.
  • Any other reasonable requests and responsibilities as directed by the Administration manager.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in an administrative role.
  • Knowledge and experience of logistics and transport (preferred).
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and highly proficient in excel.
  • Positive ‘Can Do’ attitude with a desire to continually strive for improvement.
  • Good team player
  • Ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Highly numerate with keen eye for detail
  • Good communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Able to work under pressure to tight timescales.
  • Ability to prioritise & organise workloads.
