Our client is a dynamic trade association and End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) that has recently achieved OFQUAL regulation. They are embarking on an exciting period of expansion and are seeking a proactive, experienced Operations Manager to manage, maintain, and grow their services.
Position Summary: We are looking for a commercially astute, confident, and personable Operations Manager to strengthen operations, build relationships with key stakeholders, and lead the End Point Assessment team. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact and truly make it your own.
Key Responsibilities:
- EPAO Services Management: Lead the management of EPAO services with a focus on growing and retaining clients in a niche market, aiming to establish the client as a leader in their field.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee internal and external quality assurance processes (Ofqual) to ensure a compliant and audit-ready EPAO service.
- Team Leadership: Manage direct reports from assessors and create a high-performing team environment. Support contracted End Point Assessors to deliver a consistent, standardised, and compliant EPA service.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
- Performance Reporting: Produce reports on EPA performance, including pipeline, threats, and opportunities.
- Advice and Guidance: Provide members and associations with expert advice and guidance on skills and EPA.
- Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions for internal stakeholders and customers on all matters related to EPA.
- Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for external apprenticeship providers, the ESFA, and OFQUAL.
Required:
- Previously Managed an EPAO
- Previous sales experience is a bonus
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Experience managing a high performing team.
- Experience with curriculum or assessment development .
The role will be:
- Full t ime , permanent and hybrid.
- 2 days a week i n Southampton.
