QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Relevant qualification whether degree, HNC, or NVQ in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential).
• Good general education essential
• Two or three years experience within a contracting/subcontracting environment
• A good understanding of electrical systems is preferred but not essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop full understanding of the Contract / Sub Contract process
• Ensure applications for payment are accurate and submitted on time
• Manage cost control on all contracts
• Remain involved in the development of business to build on client relationships

MAIN TASKS:

• Preparation of applications for payment
• Deal with contractual queries and difficulties, respond to contractual letters
• Prepare and submit contractual claims
• Chase payment within terms of contract and pursue aged debt
• Negotiate agreement of final account
• Maintain regular client contact to build on long term relationships
• Strive to improve the quality of service provided to the Company's customers by identifying and proposing developments and amendments to systems used
• Take responsibility for own personal health and safety and impact on the environment

£50,000-£60,000 ANNUAL SALARY DOE
