Remarkable Jobs are assisting a well-established client, with the search for an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple sites and coordinate with several main contractors. This role primarily involves on-site management across London and the South East, with occasional visits Farnham.

‘Project Manager’ Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive project handover from the Sales team.
  • Arrange final measurements, conduct risk assessment surveys, and liaise with clients regarding installation programs and coordination with other trades.
  • Ensure submission/upload of design documents, technical submittals, sample submittals, and scope of works, achieving A status.
  • Prepare required contract documents, including risk assessments and method statements, or delegate to responsible team members.
  • Ensure all blinds and other products are in production or on order in accordance with the program to maximize cash flow.
  • Appoint subcontract installers and allocate fitting time on the installation control board.
  • Arrange hire of access equipment if required.
  • Fully brief installers on methods, risks, and environmental issues, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Visit major project sites at commencement to ensure all details are attended to.
  • Provide weekly reports on larger projects, including profitability and cash flow tracking.
  • Assist with work-in-progress reporting at the end of each month.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of applications for payments every month.
  • Address any variations issued by the contractor for change.
  • Promptly close out snags with detailed care for the client and the project.
  • Complete final handover and commissioning, providing a full Fieldwire report per project.
  • Advise the marketing team if there is an opportunity for photography.
  • Track site contacts for future projects and inform the Sales Team.
  • Provide feedback on key contacts and lessons learned to the Sales Team at post-project review meetings for continuous improvement.

‘Project Manager’ Key Skills:

  • Experience in Interior fit out, ideally in commercial or high-end residential projects
  • Experience managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work well under high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
