Senior Technical Coordinator - Liskeard

Residential house builder

The Senior Technical Coordinator will be allocated projects to coordinate at a planning-approved stage, and they will be responsible for supporting the management of all external consultants to the Technical Team in the production of working drawings for the design and construction of site developments. The Senior Technical Coordinator will organise all technical information on projects from inception to completion and ensure all information is available to the construction team and other departments throughout the duration of each project.

Senior Technical Coordinator Day to day:

  • Issue drawings and information for construction purposes, using the correct protocols as instructed by the Technical Director.
  • Set up legal and sales information in relation to the land - e.g. online reservation documentation, brochure plans, conveyance plans, sales area layout drawings and.
  • Prepare and monitor Technical specifications and Home User Guides.
  • Make sure enquiries and applications when required go to statutory service companies and local authorities.
  • Compile a list of postal addresses for each site.
  • Support the overall Technical team in continuing updated processes in regards to Building Regulations and any other Statutory Bodies.
  • Ensure updated group drawings are issued in accordance with department procedures.
  • Organise the production of layouts and working drawings.
  • Provide support to the Planning team to aid the submission of planning and building regulation applications.
  • Help in the production health and safety plans at pre-tender stage.
  • Assemble technical reports for land appraisals with correct supervision.
  • Get various consents approved e.g. foot sales signage, path closures etc.
  • Provide technical support and information to the Construction, Commercial and Sales teams and maintain good communication to ensure the required level of service is maintained.
  • Assist the Technical Manager / Senior Technical Manager and Development Manager in fee negotiation and the appointment of consultants.
  • Prepare and release specific site documentation in preparation of Sales launch information.
  • Always comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.

Senior Technical Coordinator Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Building Regulations, detailing and construction methods.
  • A successful mentor and motivator leading from the front at all times

  • Proactive and hardworking, drives own results
  • Excellent customer service mannor
  • Reliable and flexible where necessary
  • At Ease when dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Monday to Friday - In the office
